Introducing
Cúpla x Madigan
Cúpla is the Irish word for 'a couple' or 'twins' and just as the name suggests, the creation of this very special collection was conceived & created by two: Elaine Madigan & Elaine Honey.
Described as ‘modern romantic’, their styles fuse seamlessly to create the first Cúpla Capsule Collection: a dance of 7 garments created in house using opulent silk fabrics with the signature simplicity synonymous with the Madigan brand.
Handmade with love
We use a hand-flat knitting technique which was popular in Ireland from about the 50s to the 80s. Many a school jumper was knit by mothers in their homes in this manner. Whoever would have thought we could create something so beautiful all these years later?
